Toyota will assemble parts for machines under Peter


A subsidiary of Toyota announced its intention to create a near Petersburg automotive assembly plant. The company already has a car assembly plant, that he will be a major customer for the new company. True, Toyota parts could be useful to other plants in the region.

Until the end of 2012, "Toyota" plans to sign with the administration of the Leningrad region agreement to build in the region of production of components for its St. Petersburg plant. Investment in the project, according to Yalova, amount to several hundred million rubles. Production of "Toyota Motor Manufacturing Russia" was launched in St. Petersburg December 21, 2007. The plant operates two shifts, production capacity is 50,000 units per year.

Vice Governor also noted that other manufacturers of automotive components - Spanish Gestamp - in October, will begin production of pressed parts for the Nissan Murano. The company is also working with automobile Ford and GM. Soon, the Spaniards will deliver your parts and assembly models Hyundai.
